Navigating the dark, atmospheric corridors of Mars City in Doom 3 requires both sharp reflexes and thorough exploration to survive. Players who take the time to inspect their surroundings often find valuable resource caches that make combat encounters far more manageable. Unlocking the primary weapons storage room early in the campaign provides essential firepower and extra ammunition to deal with demonic threats.
Locating the Weapon Storage Room in Mars City
The main weapons storage room is situated within the combat preparation area of Mars City. As you progress through the initial stages of the base, you will encounter locked doors that guard high-grade security supplies. Finding this room gives you an immediate defensive advantage before heading deeper into the facility.
Finding the Required Security Code
To acquire the combination, players must pay close attention to personal data assistants (PDAs) left behind by UAC personnel. The specific combination needed to unlock the weapons storage door is 584. Accessing the entry pad with this code disarms the electronic lock and grants full entry to the armory.
Maximizing Your Armory Rewards and Tactical Advantage
Inside the storage room, players can gather additional weapons, medical kits, and heavy armor upgrades. Collecting these resources early drastically improves your survivability during intense ambushes. Managing your equipment wisely ensures that you maintain high momentum throughout your journey across the Martian base.
